Sunlight shined through the blinds onto her bed. The singing of the birds outside mixing with the calm and relaxing dreamlike music from her alarm. A young girl stirs in her sleep for a few minutes until she slowly rose up in her bed and let loose a prolonged yawn while reaching up and stretching her arms. She lowered her left arm to her pink stuffed bear Snugglebug. "Yaaaahhh. Good morning Snuggey! Did you sleep well too?" She picked up the bear and tilted it from side-to-side. "Yes I did, Kalla, all because I was with my best friend in the whole wide world!" She said in a silly voice. "Well thank you again for being on guard all night, Snugglebug, I wouldn't be able to sleep so soundly without you!" She saluted him. "Alexzander Castle salutes your service!" She lowered her bear back down to the bed, hopped out and made it so that she was now tucking him in. "Get some sleep, buddy, I've got a full day ahead of me, so you'll need to be on guard for when I return for my nap!" She laughed and turned off the alarm and then she twirled her way across her room.

The best way this room could be described is....PINK! PINK! PINK! So much pink! Pink sparkling curtains, pink plush carpeting, a a pink bed that looked like a beautiful confectionary turned into a bed, adorable stuffed animals lined the walls, pretty dressers and desks housed her clothes and books and movies, Everything was perfectly clean and neatly organized and most importantly cutesy!

She reached the door, opened it up and ran to the bathroom where she would get cleaned up.

After cleaning up and brushing her teeth she returned to her room to get dressed in a cute pink sweater and jeans with a cute blue ribbon bow in her hair. It was the lucky ribbon that Jamie Strode gave her before she had to move away. They still kept in contact of course and wearing the ribbon made her feel so much closer to her friend. She had just finished getting dressed when her father walked into the room.

"Heeey look at you already ready for the day! You all set for the party?"

"You betcha, daddy!" She laughed and hopped up and down with her shining blue eyes lighting up. "I just know those roll cakes are going to blow everyone's minds today!" She stopped hopping and rubbed her hands together. "It's time for Lucy to lose her crown!"

"Uhhh I thought you two were friends?"

"Oh we are." She admitted. "Best of friends. I just want to beat her in a cake contest just once."

"About that, which of you decided these cake contests should be a thing anyway?"

"Honestly neither of us and both of us. They're officially unofficial."

"Oh okay. Just be sure to play nice with the other kids."

"Always do always will, dad." Kalla promised. "Besides, I still owe Annelise for the giant dollhouse she gave me."

They both glanced at the desk they'd brought in strictly to seat the giant luxury dollhouse complete with hidden passages and sound effects electronics. "Yeah that would be hard to top. I can only imagine how far this game of one upsmanship is going to go."

"Eventually I'll get a castle and they'll get mansions."

"A princess does deserve her a castle." He agreed and kissed his daughter's forehead. "Come on down. Breakfast is ready."

"YAAAAAYYY!" She cheered and bolted past him.

"Walk dear, walk! No running in the halls!"

"TOO LATE!"
